Alexander Ayling
Born and raised in San Diego, California, Alexander Ayling has always been a storyteller. With a deep interest in history and culture, he studied at UCSB before living in Spain for three years, honing his craft as a travel filmmaker and television host.
In 2013 he and his brother won the travel filmmaking contest "The Biggest Baddest Bucketlist" - which sent them around the world to 25 destinations in 25 weeks, producing 50 original videos, capturing thousands of photos, and writing original articles from 6 different continents.
After the whirlwind trip, he co-founded the Vagabrothers Youtube channel in 2014, which has since amassed 1.1 million subscribers and over 50 million organic views.
In 2018 he co-hosted the travel television show "Basic vs. Baller" which is currently available on Hulu. (As of August 8th,2022)
In 2020 he married the love of his life, Carrie Rad, and moved to New Zealand.
He is currently working on original video content for his new Youtube channel "Alexander Ayling".
