Anwar Hossain Chowdhury is very very popular as a Model for TV commercials, such as ROBI Exiata Telecom (Hash-bash), Coca-Cola, Kurkure, Lever brother, New Zealand Dairy Firm, SINGER, Parachute hair oil (Marico Bangladesh) etc. He is also well known for his main roll performance in the film NOROSHUNDOR by 2007 which is directed by one of the best director of Bangladesh Mr. Tareq Masud (Late). He did the costume design for the film LAST THAKUR by UK based production company Artificial Eye. Also he did costume design for the film MEHERJAN directed by Rubiyat Hossain. He also did the costume design for the film RUNWAY directed by Mr. Tareq Masud (Late).
He is also an active member of Centre for Asian Theater (CAT) since 1996. And participated in lots of stage shows of different play wrights, in different places even traveled Asia and Europe several times. He is working as Costume Designer, Music and Choreography assistance to the director presently.
Professionally he is working as a Head fashion designer for OPEX and Sinha Textiles Group Ltd. (Oct. 2010 to April till date) one of the largest Garments manufacturing company in Bangladesh. Also a Co-founder Designer of ATTIRE (UK based fashion outlet of OPEX). He has also worked with BEXIMCO as Sr. Designer and was one Co- founder designer for their local outlet YELLOW (2003 to 2008).
