Mumbai, March 8 (Ians) Actress Aahana Kumra on Monday expressed her annoyance after an airline, without prior information, cancelled a flight she was scheduled to board.
"Hi @flyspicejet ! Thanks for cancelling a flight and then not informing the passenger," Aahana tweeted, tagging the airline.
The airline replied: "Hi Aahana, we would request you to share your Pnr via Dm so we may check."
However, this did not calm the actress, who again tweeted calling this an Aahana wrote: "I strongly urge passengers to avoid booking themselves on a @flyspicejet flight !! They cancel without any prior notice. Absolutely unethical!" she wrote.
Aahana is working on the short film "Happy Birthday" where she will be sharing the screen with Anupam Kher. The thriller is being directed by Prasad Kadam.

Mumbai, Feb 28 (Ians) Actress Rumana Molla, who plays the role of Radha in Dev Dd 2, says that it was challenging to shoot for the series as the shoot did not happen in one go. There was a break in the shoot due to the lockdown and other circumstances and it got tough to maintain continuity, says the actress.
"I had a blast with the cast and I am glad I got to know some wonderful people. But was also challenging because the shoot didn't happen in one go due to various circumstances. We shot and then there was a break. Then, we reshot some portions after some time, but then again, the shoot was halted due to the lockdown. Reprising the same character also means maintaining the same look and that was the most difficult part," Rumana told Ians.

Mumbai, Feb 24: Actress Rumana Molla recently appeared in the web film Bawri Chhori. She agrees with the growing opinion that, more than their craft, an actor gains popularity for their presence on social media these days.
"I just realised that when it comes to the introduction of an actor to casting directors, or even gaining visibility, everything is designed through social media. People will check your number of followers on social media and the kind of content you are posting there. That, somehow has become a reflection of who you are or the way you want to be taken by the audience as an actor or a celebrity," Rumana told Ians.
"It is their choice but I believe that for an actor, working on craft is way more important. I have been doing theatre, training myself in acting, attending workshop because learning the craft helps to improve the art.

Mumbai, Feb 21 (Ians) The just-released second season of the popular web series "Dev Dd" touches upon subjects like female foeticide and LGBTQ.
Lead actress Asheema Vardaan, who reprises her role as Devika in the show's second season, spilled the beans on the subject. She said: "This time the show is majorly taking about female foeticide and LGBTQ. The show talks about Queer Marriage which is an important topic to shine light on as queer people don't enjoy marriage rights that as their straight counterparts do. It's saddening to see that our law don't see straight couple and Queer couple the same which leads to social stigma and ostracisation."
It is adapted from Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay's epic novel "Devdas" with a female perspective as Devika. The series gives an unconventional twist to the "Devdas" storyline with gender reversals.
The second season is more intriguing with its storyline, feels the actress. She...

In Hindi, “Irada” translates to “intention.” But while writer/director Aparnaa Singh’s feature has a noble one, it’s too often blurred by execution that falls short on almost every level. The social relevance angle is apparent; in fact, the heart-wrenching illumination of Punjab’s chemically-contaminated water and illegal reverse boring practices, and their cancerous effects on the community, bears a vague but unmistakable resemblance to the discoveries Julia Roberts made as Erin Brockovich in the 2000 film. But around that theme swirls several overlapping stories and issues competing for attention.
One is that of Parabjeet Walia (Naseeruddin Shah)—whose daughter Riya (Rumana Molla) develops terminal cancer from swimming in the tainted water—and his potential involvement with the mysterious bombing of tycoon Paddy Sharma’s (Sharad Kelkar) pharmaceutical company, which has suspicious ties to the toxic material. The incident’s investigation is helmed by Arjun Mishra (Arshad Warsi), a...
