Caroline Virginia-May Simmons is an American actress, model, and makeup artist. She is living and working in Santa Monica, California.
Simmons was born and raised in Pasadena, California and was brought up by her two loving parents. She grew up with an older brother and sister. She went to Maranatha High School and found her love for comedy and acting when she became apart of the school's improv comedy club. She went on to graduate in 2013 and pursue acting at the University of Southern California.
Simmons graduated from USC's School of Dramatic Arts program in the fall of 2017. Once she graduated, she first explored her talents and passion for film within the art department. In 2018, Simmons was hired as the lead makeup artist, hair stylist, and costume designer for the short "Continuum". "Continuum" later on won the Golden Angel Award for "Best Short Film" at the Chinese American Film Festival (C.A.F.F.). Simmons then became the lead makeup artist and hair stylist on the short "Promise Me" (2019), and has grown into being the main makeup artist for the musician, Liz Huett, on her music videos and photo shoots.
During her time as a makeup artist, Simmons also started her career with an acting role at Universal Studios Horror Nights, which allowed her to become a member of AGVA and be SAG eligible. From there, Simmons went on to model and act in internet commercials for Betabrand, Aaptiv, and GlamCam (2019). Simmons has found that she fills a niche in the industry as a whole. She represents the normal, or what other people would call "plus size" women of the world. That in conjunction with Simmons' look tends to make her more accessible to diverse ethnicities and roles. She has continued to broaden her talent by taking improvisational classes with The Groundlings Theater.
