Olivia Munn recently underwent a hysterectomy as she has been battling breast cancer for over a year, she revealed in a magazine profile published over the weekend.
Munn spoke with Vogue magazine regarding the five surgeries she has undergone since she was diagnosed with luminal B breast cancer in both breasts in April 2023. According to Munn, her doctor decided the best course of action was to ensure her body no longer produces estrogen.
“I have now had an oophorectomy and hysterectomy. I took out my uterus, fallopian tubes and ovaries,” the 43-year-old told the magazine. “It was a big decision to make, but it was the best decision for me because I needed to be present for my family.”
Munn has been partnered with comedian John Mulaney since 2021 and the two share a son, Malcolm.

Rebecca Romijn says she didn’t speak out about the misconduct allegations against her two former X-Men directors, Bryan Singer and Brett Ratner, because others had already done so.
While speaking to The Independent about her career journey and why working on Star Trek: Strange New Worlds is personally special, The Librarians actress opened up about the controversies around the original X-Men trilogy, which was distributed by 20th Century Fox, with the first two installments directed by Singer and the third by Ratner.
While other members of the cast have spoken more explicitly about the chaotic and on-set behavior they witnessed, in addition to addressing their feelings on the allegations of sexual misconduct around Singer, Romijn has remained mostly silent. According to her, it’s because she didn’t feel like she needed “to say anything else.”
“Yeah, I kind of just… I didn’t feel like I needed to say anything.

In an essay for the women’s magazine Elle, Tendler wrote about the loss of her French bulldog Petunia in April and opened up about how the dog helped her through her divorce. Tendler wrote, “[Petunia] never let me out of her sight. In fact, she watched me intently, as if I was the thing she now needed to guard.”
She explained that when she returned home from the hospital for mental health issues, including suicidal ideation and self-harm, Petunia acted as her protector.

Anna Marie Tendler, the artist who divorced John Mulaney in a high-profile split in 2021, has opened up about her mental health struggles prior to the end of her marriage.
In an essay for Elle about the loss of her beloved French bulldog Petunia, who died in April, Tendler described her deep bond with Petunia and how the dog helped support her throughout the dissolution of her marriage.
“Petunia and I moved to Connecticut in December 2020, in the wake of my severe mental health breakdown and what appeared to be the impending end of my marriage,...

John Mulaney details the intervention that kicked off a personal reset and several years of “work on myself” in his latest comedy special, John Mulaney: Baby J.
“The past couple of years I’ve done a lot of work on myself,” he says at the top of his fourth Netflix special and the first since his stay in a drug rehabilitation facility, which saw him spend two months in a Pennsylvania rehab. “I’ve realized that I’ll be fine as long as I get constant attention.”
The joke alludes to all the media coverage around the comedian, garnered primarily between 2020 and 2022 in relation to his drug misuse and treatment, as well as the birth of his son with actress Olivia Munn and his high-profile divorce from ex-wife Anna Marie Tendler. Mulaney had already addressed these topics to varying degrees most notably during an appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers.

Late in his newest special “Baby J,” John Mulaney spins a yarn about a desperate quest for cocaine. In the summer of 2020, the comedian bought a brand-new Rolex, then pawned it at a steep discount to get some hands on some quick cash. “As you process and digest how obnoxious, wasteful, and unlikeable that story is,” Mulaney concludes, “Just remember: that’s one I’m willing to tell you.”
There’s a lot Mulaney isn’t willing to tell us — at least, not yet. The stand-up has never been particularly personal in his work, instead favoring Seinfeld-style observation and sketches that stand on their own. When Mulaney did discuss his own life, it was either a childhood memory recalled from a healthy distance or an anecdote about his then-stable, long-term partnership with his girlfriend-turned-wife. Even these details were jumping-off points for broader bits about buying real estate or dads’ obsession with World War II,...

For the first time since 2018, comedian John Mulaney returns to stand up on Netflix with John Mulaney: Baby J and he promises to share “obnoxious, wasteful and unlikeable” stories.
The Netflix standup is Mulaney’s first since his divorce from Anna Marie Tendler, getting sober, and the birth of his son. Mulaney is also now dating actor Olivia Munn. Needless to say, life has more than changed for Mulaney since his last Netflix special, Kid Gorgeous at Radio City.
‘John Mulaney: Baby J’ comes on the heels of ‘From Scratch’
When the pandemic haze lifted and Mulaney emerged from rehab, he embarked upon a raw standup tour, perfectly titled, From Scratch. The bulk of Mulaney’s previous standup material dove into his sobriety, poking fun at the drug and alcohol abuse problem he had in his 20s. But during the pandemic, he relapsed, went to rehab, and he sourced a...

Olivia Munn stars as Evie in Episode 1 of Tales of The Walking Dead Season 1. Pic credit: AMC/Curtis Bonds Baker
The debut episode of AMC’s Tales of The Walking Dead revealed Joe (Terry Crews) and Evie (Olivia Munn) as two entirely different characters forced together more than a year after the zombie apocalypse unfolded.
Joe is a doomsday prepper who has lost his dog and is now in search of companionship. He is rigid in his approach to everything and will not be swayed — until he meets Evie.
Evie is a free spirit. Having lived on an organic farm for the past year, she is also in search of someone — her ex-husband.
The pair team up after Evie traps Joe and forces him to let her tag along, taking over and informing him they will be on the hunt for her ex before he can find his online friend who is also a prepper.

The upcoming Walking Dead spin-off Tales of the Walking Dead is an anthology series, which means that each of the first season’s six episodes will center on different characters that may or may not make appearances in other episodes throughout the season. Because each episode is primarily a self-contained story, actors who may not have the time to commit to a full season arc are able to join this universe. This means that Tales of the Walking Dead has a stacked cast with many familiar faces – some are newcomers to the franchise and others are Walking Dead alums.
