- Nicolás de Jesús started work as an independent filmmaker in 2012, with "The Frozen Ground", a-never-finished movie. Later, he direct subsequent short films, focused on loneliness and the enclaustred feelings, tied to the genre of suspense mainly, plus drama and/or horror. His 2016' short film, Valencia, based on a urban legend and filmed in one take, give him the opportunity to expand his abilities as director with more confidence, as is shown in their next works. In 2018 direct Ensurance Trap, his firsts long feature film, with a screenplay from his own and inspired by Alfred Hitcock's Psycho.
