- Amy is a queer, non-binary, Canadian-Ukranian filmmaker and performer. They are the co-founder and owner of Interwoven Films and their work focuses on non-binary, female, and LGBTQI+ stories and they seek to elevate marginalized voices. With a Masters Degree in Environmental Sociology, their narratives often have environmental and social conversations at the heart. As an award-winning actor, Amy's films have been screened at SITGES, TIFF, and the Vancouver Film Festival. As a filmmaker, Amy was selected in 2021 as one of ten emerging Canadian television producers for the RDV Canada: Meet the Series program and they are a 2022 graduate of the Canadian Film Centre Producers Lab. In 2018 Amy was awarded a Telefilm Talent to Watch grant for their digital series, I Hear You, a modern, feminist, medical drama. Amy wrapped production on their first short Documentary I See You in March of 2022 which explores the relationship between femme/non-binary artists and sexual health.
