Jifu Li, M.P.S.E. has a bachelor's degree in Sound Design from the Beijing Film Academy and a Master's Degree in Editing from the American Film Institute.
He has worked for the China Film Group as a senior sound editor and re-recording mixer for more than 24 commercial movies in China from 2011 to 2015. Some of his work, like THE GRANDMASTER, won the 61st MPSE Golden Reel for Best Dialogue Editing in 2013; TIBET SKY won the CSMPTE Best Sound Track in 2014. He has worked with 3 time Academy Award winner, Michael Minckler in the movie, GONE WITH THE BULLET, Emmy nominated sound editor, Chris Sheldon in Renny Harlin's movie, SKIPTRACE, and MPSE Best Sound Editing winner Alexandre Widmer in UP THE WIND.
His editing & sound design work includes THE HOME GLEANERS, which won the 49th Golden Horse Best Short Feature Movie; and LOVE IS COLOR BLIND winner of the Best Short Foreign Language Film from London IFF2017. His years of training at the Beijing Film Academy and the American Film Institute combined with his professional experience at the China Film Group have laid out a solid foundation for his understanding of film production.
