The Asylum has bought North American rights to supernatural horror The Young Cannibals from UK-based genre sales outfit Devilworks.
The company will release the film on platforms including iTunes and Amazon, as well as on-demand and with major cable partners, day and date on October 1.
The film will have its international premiere in competition in the Dark Visions section at Madrid’s Nocturna Fantastic Film Festival in October.

Devilworks have today released poster and trailer for UK supernatural horror The Young Cannibals, from writer/director duo Kris Carr and Sam Fowler.
Starring Megan Purvis and Hannah Louise Howell, this fast-paced horror follows a group of friends as they arrive at a secluded campsite, where they plan on spending a relaxing weekend by the lake. What they didn’t plan on, was being tricked into eating burgers made of human flesh. This act summons an unrelenting supernatural creature, which hunts them down one by one.
