Johana Rodriguez was born in Bogota, Colombia. She is the youngest of two. Her brother, a pilot, her mother, a domestic worker, and her father, a former intelligence agent for the Colombian Administrative Department of Security known as DAS. Johana's parents were both born in Colombia, her mother in Manizales, a coffee-growing region in western Colombia, and her Father in Bogota, the capital of Colombia.
She graduated from Suffolk County Community College with an AAS in Arts, where she studied with Steven Lantz Gefroh. In addition, she has studied acting at the renowned HB Studios in NYC with Rochelle Oliver, Paul Pryce, and Snezhana Chernova. Credits include "Investigation Discovery: The Perfect Murder," Dir. Kevin Kauffman, "Blue Bloods," Dir. Donald E. Thorin Jr., and film "We Are Living Things," Dir. Antonio Tibaldi. While acting, she's also pursuing a career behind the scenes, currently as Assc. Producer for the short film and NYWIFT New Work's Lab Showcase script finalist, "I Want To Hear My Voice," Dir. Julia Aldana.
