Alexis Guadner

Born Alexis Gonzalez Guarneros in Mexico City, at his early childhood, he started to show interest in performing arts by recreating Disney movie scenes, singing in school choir and putting on shows for his relatives. After a long time spent trying to convince his family to support his artistic dreams, his parents enrolled him at drama school M&M Studio, owned by prolific Mexican actress Patricia Reyes Spindola, where he immediately landed leading roles in junior productions of musicals such as Godspell and Peter Pan. This leaded him to originate new roles from newly written plays in local performances all through his hometown and participate in different episodes of Mexican TV Series.
At a very young age, he reached enormous success in cultural festivals and national competitions held at his country, where he won Best Actor awards for his portrayals of numerous characters from Anton Chekhov's plays and Bariona, the son of thunder from the play written by Jean Paul Sartre.
A short time after, he achieved international recognition for his first English Performance ever, winning the 1st place in an international Shakespearean Competition organized by The Anglo Mexican Foundation, in which he performed an acclaimed rendition from "A Midsummer Night's Dream" and Sonnet 129th. This granted him a 100% scholarship for a Shakespeare Acting Conservatory program in Oxford, UK which culminated with an innovative staging of "Twelfth Night: Or what you will" where he played a young Malvolio.
Eventually, he continued his career in the United States by becoming a member of New York Film Academy, where he specialized in Musical Theater & Acting for Film under the teaching of such important people of NY's show business such as Deidre Goodwin and Blanche Baker. The Academy staged Off-Broadway productions of the famous Tony award winner musicals: "Spring Awakening" and "The Wedding Singer" where Alexis landed main roles and achieved notorious recognition. In 2014 he starred in the short movie musical Start-Up.com which was broadcast in the 2016 Tampa Bay Film Festival, organized by the Tampa Bay Arts & Education Network, reaching over 1.5 million viewers. The film was recipient of a Laurel of Excellence Award.
As from 2016, he started working nonstop in several musical theater projects, such as the US tour of the children's musical "Miss Nelson is Missing" produced by Two Beans / Theatreworks USA, which was seen by huge number of audiences all over the US in important venues such as Papermill Playhouse, NJ and Town Hall Theater, NYC. Some other theatrical credits include the smash hit "My Superhero Roberto Clemente" with the acclaimed Latino theater company Teatro SEA, as well as the musicals "Yosef", "Where Angels Fear to Tread" and "Ramona".
Alexis has been recently featured in the Web Series "We Speak NYC: WANY" which is supported by the New York City government and narrates the stories about the lives of working-class immigrants who come from all over the world to make New York their home.
His most recent job can be seen in the web series "The return of Brian Willing".
