Alisha Xsel graduated Salutatorian Sum Cum Laude from Paine College (Augusta, GA) with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications with emphasis in Broadcasting. She began her professional career as a Video Content Editor and later a Director at well-known global cable television network, ESPN in Bristol, Connecticut. She received two Emmys as a Director before leaping into unscripted and scripted television and moving to Los Angeles. She has worked with various awards shows including the Grammys, MTV, and BET Awards - working with celebrities such as, T-Pain, Trey Songz, Ciara, Russell Wilson, and Jay-Z. Alisha also has multiple credits in shorts, features, web series, music videos, live tapings, and reality television - working with Jay Ellis of Insecure, Tweet, MC Lyte, Flex Washington and many others. In 2017, she was accepted into the Georgia Film Academy (Atlanta, Georgia), which brought her back to the East coast. She has since continued to worked on both independent and union shows such as, OWN's Love Is ___ and Director X's film, SuperFly.
