Updated 3:30 Pm: Law & Order creator/executive producer Dick Wolf has taken swift action after social media posts by writer-producer Craig Gore about the ongoing unrest in Los Angeles following George Floyd’s death drew criticism. Update: Following Gore’s dismissal from the NBC show, he also was dropped by his agency Paradigm.
“I will not tolerate this conduct, especially during our hour of national grief,” Wolf said in a statement “I am terminating Craig Gore immediately.”
The decision comes only hours after the insensitive posts by Core, a writer-producer on the upcoming Law & Order: Svu offshoot headlined by Christopher Meloni, were met with backlash. Gore posted a photo of himself brandishing a rifle in front of his home with a caption, “curfew”, after threatening to “light motherf***ers up who try to f*** w/my property” in reference to looting nearby.

Craig Gore, a writer on NBC’s upcoming “Law & Order” spinoff with Chris Meloni, was fired from the show after threatening to “light up” looters in West Hollywood on Monday night.
“I will not tolerate this conduct, especially during our hour of national grief. I am terminating Craig Gore immediately,” Wolf said in a statement.
After posing with a large weapon in a picture captioned “curfew,” Gore wrote within a now-deleted Facebook post: “Sunset is being looted two blocks from me. You think I won’t light mother——s up who are trying to f— [with] my property I worked all my life for? Think again…”
Gore, who previously worked as a co-executive producer on Wolf’s “Chicago Pd” as well as the CBS series “S.W.A.T.,” could not immediately be reached for comment. When TheWrap asked his reps at Pardigm for comment, the agency responded by saying that he “is no longer a Paradigm client.
