Andrew Ioi is a Songwriter, Musician, Composer, Director and Producer from Toronto. He is most notable for his work as the lead singer and guitarist of The Hollowbodies. In 2004, Andrew and childhood friend James Gadon, began collaborating and performing music on the local Toronto scene. Eventually defining their rock and folk sound, the duo formed The Hollowbodies, and led the group from a humble local beginning to a band that is creating buzz on a national level.
Andrew helped the rock group release their debut album, "Town Without a Name" in 2012 to a capacity crowd at The Drake Hotel. Performing on all 15 tracks, Ioi displayed tremendous musicianship on vocals, guitar, bass, banjo and trumpet.
Andrew Directed, Produced and appeared in the 2012 Music Video Town Without a Name, which was chosen as 1 of 8 nationwide for the 2013 Boots and Hearts Music Festival Emerging Artist Showcase. He has also shared festival bills in the past with artists such as Kid Rock and Sheryl Crow and The Hollowbodies will be releasing their much anticipated second album, "When The Lights Go Out" in 2015.
