Annetta Martin

Annetta Lorraine Martin is an actress, writer, and director in Los
Angeles, CA. Annetta was born in Plainwell, Michigan on February 23,
1995, and grew up in Palmyra, WI. At age 14, she moved in with her
father in Milwaukee, WI and attended Milwaukee High School of the Arts,
where she graduated in the top ten of her class in 2013 as a theatre
performance and creative writing major. During her high school career,
Annetta participated in over thirty school theatrical productions and
worked with seven professional theatre companies, plus one circus
troupe. Annetta was also awarded over 17 recognitions for writing by
organizations including Scholastic Art and Writing Awards, Wisconsin
Fellowship of Poets, Council for Wisconsin Writers, and University of
Wisconsin Whitewater. Her theatrical study her senior year focused on
physical theatre, and in May of 2013, she premiered a full-length play,
"Get Happy" which she wrote, directed, and produced in downtown
Milwaukee. Other short plays she has written have been performed in
Milwaukee, WI as well as Suffolk, England. Annetta is also a popular
Milwaukeean clown personality, Giselle Marvelle, and three-time
champion in a national poetry recitation contest, Poetry Out Loud.
