Even before Kraglin became a more prominent "Guardians of the Galaxy" character, Sean Gunn was an integral part of the movies. While Bradley Cooper continues to provide the well-known voice of Rocket Raccoon, Gunn has served as the on-set Rocket through motion capture since the first "Guardians" film in 2014. After six movies -- including two "Avengers" crossovers and "Thor: Love and Thunder" -- and one Disney+ holiday special, Gunn has seen it all. In "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3," he gives a dual performance as Kraglin and Rocket, the latter of whom has such a beefed-up role that we've argued he, not Star-Lord (Chris Pratt), is the real lead, and heart of the movie.

With "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3," we're saying goodbye (or at least a "so long for now") to some old friends. Though we don't know the future of these weird and wonderful characters after the final James Gunn Marvel film, we have seen enough to appreciate every single one of them. That's even more true for the actors who play the roles.
Sean Gunn -- brother to writer/director James Gunn -- has played the role of the Xandarian Kraglin Obfonteri since the first "Guardians" film. Kraglin started out as a henchman for Ravager leader Yondu (Michael Rooker), and over the course of appearances in "Guardians Vol. 2," "Infinity War," "Endgame," "Thor: Love and Thunder," and "The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special," Kraglin has become a full-fledged member of the Guardians.
