Brayden John Dvorak Handcock was born in Perth, Australia, on October 10th, 1997, to a
Canadian father (Todd) and a Canadian mother (Karla). Brayden
was raised in Hong Kong as the middle child alongside his two brothers.
His pursuit for an acting career began at the age of 11 during his
first role in a school stage production of 'Bye Bye Birdie'. This led
to Brayden successfully auditioning for a total of 12 theatre
productions including the award-winning Hong Kong Broadway Musical
"Hairspray". Brayden's first film acting role was at the age of 16 as the
role of Jackson in Lisa Belcher's multi-award-winning short film 'The Gift'. With this came other roles in the Hong Kong film industry.
Brayden Handcock honed his craft in the Acting for Film and Television program at Vancouver Film School and was scouted by his current manager shortly after graduation. After building a strong reputation among casting directors and LA producers, he redirected his pursuit towards the business side of the film industry through a Bachelors of Commerce at the University of Victoria.
Brayden Handcock complements his devotion to the film industry with a long time passion for script writing, song writing, a 10th level certification in Wing Chun Kung Fu, as well as training in both Muay Thai and Judo.
