Beatriz Loera was born on September 10, 1982 in Victoria De Durango, Mexico. Beatriz and her family migrated to the United States when she was five years old and became a U.S. Citizen in 2014. She studied Social Services in Chicago, Illinois and was an award-winning Case Manager for the Illinois Department on Aging. After helping a friend produce music videos that addressed domestic violence, Beatriz decided to shift gears and pursue a career in film. She earned a bachelor's degree in Digital Film from New Mexico State University and upon graduation, began her career as a film maker. In May 2019, she joined the Director's Guild of America as an Assistant Director. She is known for working on Clint Eastwood's Cry Macho (2021) and the Fox Television hit drama The Cleaning Lady (2022).
Beatriz has worked on films that have gone on to be Oscar, Emmy and DGA nominated.
