Jennifer Suzanne Jones is an American actress. She was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa on February 17, 1994. When she was two months old, Jenny and her brother, Ceej Jones, survived a horrific car accident that claimed the lives of her parents.
Jenny and Ceej were adopted by Mike (Jones) and Darline Dee (Horton). She grew up the youngest of six siblings, three of which were also adopted. As a child, Jenny enjoyed a variety of activities. She enjoyed dancing, playing sports and singing. Although she loved music, the acting industry always intrigued her. At age five, Jenny began auditioning for local commercials and performing in many community theater productions. Aside from being a budding performer, Jenny also attended public school at Lone Tree Community School, and she participated in various extra-curricular activities: Dance Team, FCCLA, Track & Field, Volleyball, Softball, Drama/Theater, Speech Competition, Choir, Jazz Band and Marching Band. In 2011, Jenny was crowned Miss Iowa Teen and was honored with various performance awards within the competition. She represented her state at the National level and won Miss Personality. As a top academic student, athlete and performer, Jenny was constantly busy -- living a life in the spotlight.
After High School, Jenny attended Central College in Pella, Iowa on a theater scholarship. She also joined the Dance Team and taught at various local dance studios. After a year, she transferred to Grand View University in Des Moines, Iowa on a Dance Scholarship. During her time there, she was awarded as a NAIA All-American Dancer and helped her team place first at the ISDTA Competition. During her senior year, she was voted-in as Student Body Vice President. Jenny triple majored in Journalism, Mass Communications and Public Relations. During this time, she hosted a weekly radio show, monthly television program and worked as both a writer and editor for her school magazine/newspaper. It was then that Jenny investigated her parents' deaths and produced an award-winning documentary alongside an award-winning article.
Post college graduation, Jenny briefly worked for Meredith Corporation as a Digital Media editor and later at an Insurance Company as a copy editor. It didn't take long for her to realize her heart still belonged on stage and in front of the camera, so she began acting in local theater and feature films. She was cast as Esmeralda in Thor Moreno's, Burn (2016) and later cast as Nikki in Dan Brown's, The Harvest (2017). She also landed a role in the pilot episode of Torture Test (2017), a spin-off SPEED Network's Pink's (2005- ).
After a few months, Jenny currently lives in Los Angeles and continues to pursue her acting career.
