- Growing up I really admired actors such as Leonardo DiCaprio, Denzel Washington and Matthew McConaugey, Those three ever since I was little were always the guys I looked up to and I still study their styles of acting to this day.
- With very little theater experience the best training for me has always been study the ones I still look up to today. In my opinion studying those actors is the best training you could have.
- I also really admire Jennifer Lawrence. She's from the same hometown as I in Louisville, Kentucky. She's had a major influence on my life as an actor starting from the bottom and making it to the top as an A-List actress.
- It's crazy sometimes seeing the scripts that are sent to me that I have to read for. I'm only 24 years old, but I have been asked to read everywhere from a teenager to a 35 year old. I definitely understand that's how this business works and to me that's very exciting having the ability to have such a wide age range for a role I could portray.
- I remember living in Nashville, Tennessee about a year ago before moving out to the West Coast. At the time I was working at a bar on the side along with acting so I could afford to pay my rent. I decided right before last December that this was either going to go one of two ways. It's either I go back to school and get my Masters or I'm going to give Hollywood a try. To me I just felt like working at a bar no matter how much money you're making and pursuing acting at the same time just isn't succeeding. In this industry the amount of crap you have to go through before you make it, whether it's being a waiter, bartender or whatever you want to call it isn't worth all the trouble unless you want to be in this line of work as a career. So, after doing some soul searching I finally made up my mind and decided Hollywood I'm coming for you!
