The Greek Theatre, a major concert venue in the Griffith Park area of Los Angeles, was evacuated Sunday night. Yousef Erakat, better known as fouseyTUBE, was performing when his show was moved outside to the venue’s parking lot.
A bomb threat forced about 1,500 people to leave the venue. A call to police indicated an explosive device was placed at the venue, but an investigation did not discover any such package.
The threat forced the cancellation of the show by performer and YouTube personality Fousey, titled Hate Dies, Love Arrives.
Afterward, Fousey posted on Instagram about not being able to get into his own event.
“We’re just being tested right now,” he said.
The Los Angeles Police Department said early indications are that it may be a case of “Swat-ting,” a prank in which a caller reports a problem in hopes that law authorities deploy an emergency team to a site.

"People got dead up there for real!" Oh boy, here we go again... Lionsgate has revealed the trailer for the newest Tyler Perry joint, another Madea comedy (sequel) titled Boo 2! A Madea Halloween. This is, obviously enough, a sequel to the goofy Halloween comedy Boo! A Madea Halloween release just last year. Tyler Perry not only returns to write and direct, but also star again as Madea (and Joe and Brian). The cast includes Cassi Davis, Patrice Lovely, Chandra Currelley, Yousef Erakat, Diamond White, Lexy Panterra, and Andre Hall. The plot involves Madea, Bam & Hattie going to a haunted campground where they find monsters, goblins, and the boogeyman. As much as I have absolutely no interest in these movies, I have to give them props on the amusing poster design. Other than that, if you want to watch then go ahead. Here's the official trailer (+ poster) for Tyler Perry's Boo 2! A Madea Halloween,...

For close to six months, the FouseyTUBE and DOSEofFOUSEY YouTube channels, both of which star Yousef Erakat, were dormant. Erakat, who has often been open with his viewers about his struggle with mental illness, has taken short breaks from YouTube in the past, but his recent half-year hiatus marked his most significant departure from his fans to date.
Now, Erakat has returned to his DOSEofFOUSEY channel with a new video. In it, he explains the reason for his long absence, talks about his battle with depression, and vows to return with new content.
As he tells his fans, the strong reactions he had received from viewers worsened his mental state. “Every single day I chose not to pick up this camera is because I’m terrified,” he says. “I’m terrified about what the world has to say about me, I’m terrified about how people perceive me, and I...

Here’s the synopsis:
Trying to win the approval of her friends, 17-year-old Tiffany sneaks out of the house to go to a Halloween bash at a fraternity. The fun soon ends when police and the cranky, fast-talking Madea arrive to crash the party. Unhappy with this sudden turn of events, the vengeful collegians decide to scare Madea and her cronies with a series of pranks. “Boo! A Madea Halloween” star Yousef Erakat has a major crush on a certain celebrity, and he’s clearly not afraid of expressing his feelings for her. During a new episode of “Drinking With the Stars,” TheWrap’s Stuart Brazell asked the YouTuber who was his celebrity crush. “Emily Ratajkowski,” Erakat stated — no hesitation. Also Read: 'Boo! Tyler Perry never tries to make a horror comedy out of Boo! A Madea Halloween. Don’t be fooled by promotional posters spoofing The Exorcist, Halloween and other classic horror films. Madea is as Madea does, and she’s back for another preachy sermon about how kids these days need a swift kick in the ass. You know, like in the good old days when Madea was stripping on a pole like a real ratchet hoe (her words). It’s more of the same Christian tomfoolery and annoying “Hallelujer!” exclamations – just with spooky masks and Halloween themes this time around. Expectations, meet G-rated haunted house mediocrity featuring lippy PG-13 elders.

YouTube star Yousef Erakat is just starting to dip his toes in the world of feature films, most notably working with Tyler Perry on this week’s “Boo! A Madea Halloween.” “I liked it,” Erakat said about being in a film directed by someone else. “I had to definitely trust whatever he thought it was right. The way he works, he works very fast, so there were times on set when I didn’t feel comfortable in my performance and he was like, ‘We’re moving on,’ meaning he got it. I had the trust from early on.” But Erakat...

Tyler Perry will write, produce, direct and star in "Boo! A Madea Halloween" for Lionsgate with production having just gotten underway in Atlanta ahead of an October 21st release.
Perry and Chris Rock originated the idea as a joke - a fictitious Madea Halloween movie which appeared in Rock's 2014 film "Top Five".
Lionsgate then approached Perry and suggested that they actually make the movie which will be the ninth Madea film since the release of the first - "Diary of a Mad Black Woman" - back in 2005.
Set on Halloween night, Madea will keep a watchful eye on a group of misbehaving teens and must fend off killers, paranormal poltergeists, ghosts, ghouls and zombies while
Bella Thorne, Cassi Davis, Patrice Lovely, Andre Hall and Yousef Erakat also star while Ozzie Areu and Will Areu will produce.
