A graduate of Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, Samantha Hake's credits are as diverse as her projects.
Hake produced and shot additional cinematography on the HBO Feature Doc TRANSHOOD (2020), served as the Series Segment Producer on CBS' true crime series PINK COLLAR CRIMES (2018), and is currently co-producing a documentary for National Geographic. She has additionally produced, shot, and edited (in varying capacities) on documentaries such a CNN Films' THE GNOMIST (2015) and FIGHT FOR THE FIRST (2017). Her other work for television includes MTV's TRUE LIFE (2014) and PBS' BIRTHING PAINS (2013). She also provided casting and production coordination for SELFIE (2014) - a short documentary created in partnership with the Sundance Institute and Dove and in collaboration with Academy Award winning Director Cynthia Wade and Award winning Producer Sharon Liese.
"Selfie" premiered during the 2014 Sundance Film Festival and was an overnight viral sensation before it won the CLIO Image award for Short Form Mass Video Campaign.
