Emmy Frank
Emmy Frank is a New York-based Stage Director. Emmy served as James Lapine's Assistant Director on numerous productions, including Sondheim on Sondheim (Studio 54/Roundabout Theatre Company), Little Miss Sunshine (La Jolla Playhouse), Merrily We Roll Along (Encores!) and the recent HBO Documentary Six by Sondheim. Some favorite NYC directing work includes the world premiere of All Collections (Blowout Theatre Company), How I Learned to Drive (Strasberg Institute), and a new adaptation of Ibsen's Ghosts (Merchant's House Museum). Emmy has a BFA in Directing from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, Playwrights Horizons Theatre School, and an MFA in Directing from Penn State University. She grew up in Baltimore, MD.
