David Engellau

David Engellau is a Swedish film composer and sound designer living in Stockholm and London. He has written music for Scandinavian award winning drama series and feature films like Max Anger (Amazon Prime), Bonusfamily (Netflix), and Sunny Side- The Movie (biggest grossing film in Sweden in 2017).
In 2023 David relocated to the UK, working on UK films like "The Manor of Darkness", "Fright" and "Illicit Content", among other upcoming UK and Swedish productions.
In 2020, David was nominated in the Swedish Emmys, Riagalan, for best musical score, for Fartblinda/ "Blinded".
During early years, David studied film scoring in Los Angeles at UCLA film scoring program, studied music composition and counterpoint while at Cal Arts, and was a music assistant for among others, film composer Brian Reitzell, before returning to his hometown and started his company Pachipachi Music in 2006.
