Shadayah Mae
- Actress
Shadayah Mae was born in Long Island, New York. At the age of nine, she
moved to Louisiana with her family. "Shay" got her first taste of
playing a character in musical theater. She enjoyed the performing
arts, but wanted to learn more. With the growth of the film industry in
Louisiana, her mother inquired at the local film studios about acting
classes for her daughter. There, is where Shay's journey in the film
world began. Although studying to pursue larger roles, Shay worked as
background in TV shows and feature films. Soon she landed a lead in an
indie-short and booked her first national commercial for Belvita.
Before long, Shay caught the eye of casting director/producer Joey Paul
Jensen. She was requested to travel to Virginia to audition for a role
in the Civil War feature "Field Of Lost Shoes". After the audition she
was called back in to meet the writer, producer and director of the
film. They were amazed at her extraordinary talent and she was cast in
the film, her first theatrical release. Although a young teen, Shadayah
spends much of her time at the acting studio in Louisiana. Her
dedication to her craft landed her the job of junior assistant, where
she works as scene collaborator and as a reader in weekly on-camera
classes. In her spare time, Shadayah enjoys writing, running track and
field and watching NFL football.
