Nina L. Diaz will now head up unscripted and adult animation for Paramount Plus, Variety has learned exclusively.
The promotion was announced by Chris McCarthy in a memo to MTV Entertainment Group staffers on Thursday, which can be read in full below.
Diaz will now serve as chief creative officer for unscripted entertainment and adult animation at Paramount Plus, while remaining Cco and president of content for MTV Entertainment Group. She will continue to report to McCarthy. In addition, Grant Gish’s role as head of adult animation is expanding to include Paramount Plus across series and movies, with Gish still reporting to Diaz.
Furthermore, Lily Neumeyer will now be head of development for unscripted entertainment for Paramount Plus and MTV Entertainment, while Tolani Holmes is being promoted to the new role of senior vice president for development of unscripted entertainment for Paramount Plus and MTV Entertainment.

“Lindsay Lohan’s Beach Club” has been canceled after one season at MTV, TheWrap has learned.
A source close to the show says the cable channel was looking to “rework some things,” as there were “creative differences” behind the scenes, but Lindsay Lohan’s representatives put out statements saying that the actress would not return for another season.
According to Page Six, Lohan Beach House, the Mykonos nightclub where the show is set, has closed — though TheWrap’s source was unable to verify this information at the time of publication.

Lindsay Lohan makes her return to reality next month. MTV said today that its docuseries Lindsay Lohan’s Beach Club will premiere at 8 p.m. Tuesday, January 8.
Produced by Bunim/Murray Productions (The Challenge. The Real World), the program follows the actress, influencer and entrepreneur as she expands her business empire in Greece with the launch of her new club, Lohan Beach House. But she won’t do it alone.

Lindsay Lohan will be setting up camp on the beach this winter on MTV.
The actress and entrepreneur’s new docuseries, “Lindsay Lohan’s Beach Club,” will premiere Jan. 8, the cable network announced Monday. Following its U.S. debut, the show will roll out globally across Viacom’s international network of MTV channels in nearly 180 countries.
