Natalie Mitchell(IV)

As well as screen, Natalie is an experienced writer for theatre and radio. She is developing projects with Quay Street, Red Planet Pictures and Bryncoed Productions, and her short film, Halfway Between the Land and Sea commissioned by Screen South and co-written with Vickie Donoghue, is in pre- production (2022) . Her original audio drama, The Piper, was produced by Somethin' Else for BBC Sounds and was nominated for the BBC Audio Drama Awards Tinniswood Award 2022. In 2017 she was named on the BBC Talent Hotlist, and she was one of the Edinburgh TV Festivals' Ones to Watch in 2019.
Her play Germ Free Adolescent, inspired by her own experiences of neurodiversity and living with OCD was part of the closing season of the Bunker Theatre and nominated for Best Play for Young Audiences at the 2022 WGGBAs. Her theatre work has also been commissioned and presented at the Almeida Theatre; National Theatre; Royal Court Theatre and Soho Theatre.
Natalie's radio plays include Proud for BBC Radio 3's the Wire, Hidden Harm and afternoon play The Man Who Sold the World, both for BBC Radio 4.
