She is an international actress who performs in theater and film. Her training began in Buenos Aires with Hugo Midón, Juan Carlos Gene, USAL dramatics arts.
In New York she continued her training at the AMDA Conservatory and began her work in film starring in several feature films and short films.
The actress was awarded at international film festivals for her role in "Starlit" and for her leading role in "AKIKA" (MARVEL). In Buenos Aires, she assisted Jean Jacques-Lemetre (Theatre du Soleil) in various seminars. When she returned to Argentina, she trained Suzuki and with Guillermo Cacace. In 2019, she premiered "Iniquity" and premieres in 2020 "In the forgetfulness of my parents", a play created by KYU Company. As has also incarnated Blanche from Streetcar named desire in "Conversations with Blanche" directed by Carolina Lotti.
Valentina Corbella was invited to the 2019 CANNES festival for "Starlit", a film with which she won awards for best Leading actress. In 2019, she trained with the SCOT Company in Japan alongside Master Tadashi Suzuki. In 2020, Valentina trained with the SITI Company. These experiences in the Mecca of theater were of great inspiration and growth for the actress. Followed up in 2023 with Attis Company directed by Theodoros Terzopoulos in Athens.
Valentina is based in Madrid with theater and film projects on the agenda. She premiered Los Jardines at the SOHO theater. With The Gardens she participated in the Edinburgh Fringe Theater Festival in 2021. In 2022, she opened Triptych along Gaetano Marangelli and has been immersed in Butoh dance and performance art in front of audiences and currently creating new pieces.
She trains Suzuki and Viewpoints regularly with her colleague Lucia Reyes. She also trains Suzuki along Teatro Lab, contemporary dance with Lucas Condró and Butoh with Jonathan Martineau and Nataliya Andru. Founding member of KyuTeatro.
