Martin Paves
- Director
- Writer
- Producer
At a very young age Martin Paves became fascinated with Old Hollywood black and white films, mesmerized by the likes of Charlie Chaplin, Bette Davis, Joan Crawford, Marlon Brando, and Marilyn Monroe. Martin attributes his fascination of this silver screen era to the fact that as a deaf child he relied heavily on the expression of the actors to understand the story, unlike the over production of some of today's films that often over shadows the talent of the actors or the beauty of their environment. Martin was interested and took part in theatre at school. Martin's passion for film was realized when he worked on a set for his friend Sarah Siegel Magness, producer of the award winning film Precious. Sarah recognized an innate talent in Martin and urged him to write and direct a short film. Martin is proud to present his film Wasted Beauty.
