Did you see Teen Titans Go! To The Movies this summer? Nope? Well, you missed out on one of the best and funniest superhero movies there’s been in a long time. Essentially a 90 minute takedown of repetitive superhero films featuring glowering and haunted square-jawed heroes, the pic was loaded with hilarious potshots at iconic DC superheroes (including a brutal gag about Batman’s parents’ murder), a ton of DC fan service (Animal Man! On the big screen!) and a load of toe-tappin’ tunes. One thing it also boasted was a Stan Lee cameo, which was unsurprisingly his first in a DC movie.
You can check it out below, in which he takes over the screen making fun of his incredibly heavy-handed cameos in Marvel movies (and also in Marvel’s Spider-Man for PlayStation 4). His mugging for the camera only stops when someone whispers in his ear that this is a DC joint.

It seems to the Teens that all the major superheroes out there are starring in their own movies-everyone but the Teen Titans, that is. But de facto leader Robin is determined to remedy the situation, and be seen as a star instead of a sidekick. If only they could get the hottest Hollywood film director to notice them. With a few madcap ideas and a song in their heart, the Teen Titans head to Tinsel Town, certain to pull off their dream. But when the group is radically misdirected by a seriously super villain and his maniacal plan to take over the Earth, things really go awry.

Chicago – If a good laugh is golden, then “Teen Titans Go! To the Movies” is worth its weight. Although the meta-make-fun of superhero movies have already been done almost to death (Deadpool?), the Titans have been doing it on the Cartoon Network since 2013, and take it to a new level in their movie adventure.
Rating: 4.0/5.0
And the brilliance of the adventure lies in simply making fun of all the costumed characters that movie-goers now see every couple of months. Tom Cruise’s latest, “Mission: Impossible — Fallout,” is on its way to a No. 1 debut at the North American box office with an estimated $59 million.
Should predictions hold, Paramount’s sixth installment of the franchise will finish on the upper end of recent forecasts, which ranged from $50 million to $65 million at 4,386 sites. It will come out ahead of its predecessor “Mission: Impossible — Rogue Nation,” which debuted to $55 million in 2015, and also mark a franchise best. “Rogue Nation” went on to gross $682 million worldwide.
Christopher McQuarrie directed “Mission: Impossible — Fallout,” after having directed “Rogue Nation.” He also wrote the script for “Fallout.” The movie is produced and financed by Paramount and partner Skydance Productions, headed by David Ellison. Cruise is a producer along with McQuarrie, J.J. Abrams and Jake Myers. Exec producers are Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Don Granger.

“Mission: Impossible — Fallout” grossed a whopping $6 million at the Thursday box office, with IMAX scoring $1 million of the total Thursday preview number.
The last film in the “M:i” franchise — 2015’s “Rogue Nation” — grossed $4 million in previews before scoring an opening weekend of $55.5 million. Paramount is expecting a similar opening weekend for “Fallout,” with studio projections in the $50 million range against a budget of $178 million. But analysts are more optimistic, projecting a start in the $60 million range.
“Mission: Impossible — Fallout” sees Cruise return as Ethan Hunt as his Imf team (Alec Baldwin, Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames) and some old allies team up after a failed mission causes “Rogue Nation” villain Solomon Lane (Sean Harris) to escape custody.

Tom Cruise’s mission, should he choose to accept it, is to steal the box office crown.
Paramount’s “Mission: Impossible – Fallout” looks to easily win the weekend, where the franchise’s sixth installment is eyeing a North American debut between $50 million and $65 million.
Stellar reviews could help “Fallout” land a series-best domestic launch. That title currently belongs to “Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation,” which opened with $55.5 million in 2015. The highest-grossing iteration is “Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol” ($694.7 million), followed by “Rogue Nation” ($682.7 million), and Mission: Impossible 2″ ($546.4 million). Combined, the series has earned over $2.7 billion globally.
Due to production delays stemming from Cruise breaking his foot on set, “Fallout” is by far the most expensive film in the series with a $178 million price tag. The studio is hoping for an overseas boost when the movie opens this weekend in 36 international markets, including the United Kingdom, Russia, and Spain. It doesn’t bow in Japan until August,...

Picture this: a popular 1980s comic by Marv Wolfman and George Pérez called The New Teen Titans puts a bunch of sidekicks together to fight one of their rank’s evil father. After a sixteen-year run come new titles to continue the legacy in print with differing line-ups before Cartoon Network developed the property into a television series from Glen Murakami entitled Teen Titans. This thing becomes a huge winner for Cn with rabid fans and critical acclaim before moving past a planned four-season arc into a fifth with the feature Teen Titans: Trouble in Tokyo serving as a finale. Did WB cancel it? Did Cartoon Network? Was it a matter of Bandai owning toy rights for the show despite Mattel signing exclusivity with the station? Who knows?

I should confess from the jump that I’m a big fan of superhero self-parody: from “Not Brand Ecch!” and “What the–?” to “Ambush Bug” and “World’s Funnest,” watching the big publishers make fun of themselves has led to some of my very favorite comics over the years.
That same reckless sense of mocking the (Bat)man in the mirror is alive and well in “Teen Titans Go! to the Movies,” a big-screen adaptation of the popular Cartoon Network series in which the titular adolescents do everything they can to make it — where else? — onto the big screen.
Unfortunately for Robin (voiced by Scott Menville), he and his teammates — alien warrior Starfire (Hynden Walch), shape-shifter Beast Boy (Greg Cipes), goth-girl mage Raven (Tara Strong), and human-android hybrid Cyborg (Khary Payton) — are the laughing-stocks of the superhero world, since this team is more interested in waffles and musical numbers than in actual heroics.

“Teen Titans Go! to the Movies,” a brash and blithe-spirited animated comedy adventure for kids, demonstrates that when it comes to superhero movies, meta has become the new normal. The whole meta fixation in mainstream movies didn’t start with superhero films, of course. It probably goes back to “Scream” (1996) or even “Last Action Hero” (1993). Yet it was still startling, in 2014, to see how far “The Lego Movie” — a picture that invited three- and four-year-olds into its big tent of fun — could push the notion of look!-we’re-using-Lego-blocks-to-construct-a-fantasy-world-that-we’re-also-deconstructing-the-concept-of.
“The Lego Batman Movie” nudged the cheeky self-awareness a notch further by using it to tweak the mindset of Bruce Wayne, a rich-dude vigilante with narcissistic personality disorder who enjoyed being Batman not because he liked saving people but because he loved the image of himself as Batman. And it wouldn’t be farfetched to say that “The Lego Batman Movie” was influenced,...

When we think of the quintessential villains to have been a thorn in the side of DC’s more prominent adolescent heroes, it’s only understandable that Deathstroke be among the first that come to mind. Thus, it makes sense that he show up in some capacity in this summer’s animated feature Teen Titans Go! To The Movies.
When it comes to this particular iteration of Deathstroke, he’ll be voiced by none other than Will Arnett and lately, he’s been engaging in a friendly social media war with none other than Deadpool‘s Ryan Reynolds. Long story short, it has everything to do with them sharing visual similarities – even if Slade Wilson arrived on the scene long before Wade Wilson.
Believe it or not, the confusion between the two spills over into the film itself, with the Teen Titans actually adamantly referring to Deathstroke as “Deadpool” upon meeting him.

Normally, that slot’s been reserved for Ron Perlman, whom we know to have voiced the character in the TV series that gave way to the big screen sibling. But in a way not dissimilar to how the studio acquired a bigger name to voice Superman such as Nicolas Cage, some recasting was apparently in order here.

If anything, Teen Titans Go! To The Movies is shaping up to have the most bizarrely atypical cast for a DC animated film this side of The Lego Batman Movie. Well, that’s aside from those voicing the titular adolescent heroes whom we’ll list off a bit later.
For now, let’s discuss those Justice Leaguers who’ll be putting in appearances, shall we?
Already, we’ve known that Nicolas Cage will be voicing Superman, just as Lil Yachty and Halsey will do for Green Lantern and Wonder Woman, respectively. Still, you had to figure that with those heavy hitters showing up, the studio surely wouldn’t pass up including its top moneymaker, right?
Originally, we suspected that Will Arnett would again lend his pipes to Batman, but we recently learned that he will, in fact, be playing Slade Wilson instead. With that out of the way, we’re...

Teen Titans Go! To the Movies hits theaters on July 27.
When the Teen Titans go to the big screen, they go big! “Teen Titans Go! to the Movies” finds our egocentric, wildly satirical Super Heroes in their first feature film extravaganza—a fresh, gleefully clever, kid-appropriately crass and tongue-in-cheek play on the super hero genre, complete with musical numbers.
With a mention of Deadpool (where did that come from??), check out the funny new trailer.
It seems to the Teens that all the major super heroes out there are starring in their own movies—everyone but the Teen Titans, that is! But de facto leader Robin is determined to remedy the situation, and be seen as a star instead of a sidekick. If only they could get the hottest Hollywood film director to notice them. With a few madcap ideas and a song in their heart, the Teen Titans head to Tinsel Town,...

Although we received a teaser of sorts for Teen Titans Go! To The Movies a few months back, the truth is that we didn’t entirely know what to expect from the animated film that’ll soon be making its way to cinemas. But now, we have a full trailer that hints at the humor and adventure waiting to unleash itself upon moviegoers.
To be honest, I’m not a fan of the TV series on which the flick is based, but I strangely find myself admiring this work for how truly ballsy it is. Really, to see how self-aware the picture is shows that somebody at Warner Bros. is willing to let the jabs at live action DC movies such as Green Lantern and Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice slide.
But what may have people talking most is that Nicolas Cage has finally gotten to play Big Blue in some capacity.

Warner Bros and DC Animations has just released a new trailer for their upcoming feature Teen Titans Go! to the Movies. The Teen Titans Go! series has long been the subject of ridicule for being too silly and not enough like its predecessor. This movie shows that they are not only aware of the criticism but have created a storyline directly in response. Check out the trailer right here.

I've been a little bit on the fence with this Teen Titans Go! to the Movies film, but this latest trailer sold me on it. The movie looks like it's going to bring some hilarious humor! The trailer also reveals that Slade Wilson a.k.a. Deathstroke is going to be the main villain in the story and he will be voiced by Will Arnett. The movie seems like it's going to non-stop joke fest and it's sure to entertain both kids and their parents.
I also included a series of character posters that poke fun at the Justice League movie team.

When it comes to this particular iteration of Deathstroke, he’ll be voiced by none other than Will Arnett, whom we knew to be attached to the project from the beginning. The problem, however,...

In the latest bit of news to be filed under “better late than never,” none other than Nicolas Cage has been confirmed to voice Superman in the upcoming animated flick Teen Titans Go! To The Movies. Set to carry over from the adventures seen on Cartoon Network, this offering will place the focus on some of DC’s most popular adolescent heroes, albeit with a highly comedic spin.
Now, what makes this particular round of casting special is that Cage had previously been enlisted to star as the Man of Tomorrow himself in Tim Burton’s ill-fated Superman Lives back in the late 1990’s. Believe it or not, the studio pulled the plug on that one just days before shooting was set to commence, making it one of the hottest pieces of trivia in superhero film history, with even a documentary about it having been produced in the time since.

Ever since fans learned that Nicholas Cage was going to play Superman in Tim Burton's Superman Lives movie, which never happened, we can't help but wonder what that would have been like. It would have certainly been interesting to see Cage take on the role of the Man of Steel.
But now, it seems like the time has come for Nicolas Cage to bring Superman to the big screen! Warner Bros. Animation has announced that the actor will provide the voice of Superman in the upcoming movie, Teen Titans Go! To the Movies. This is the closest thing that we'll get to seeing Cage in the role of Superman, and I can't help but think there will be a few Superman Lives jokes thrown into the film.
During an interview with USA Today, executive producer Sam Register talked about what they were looking for when casting the role of Superman,...

A new poster has been released for DC Entertainment's upcoming animated film Teen Titans Go! to the Movies. As you can see, it's the same style as the poster for Justice League. The characters include Robin, Cyborg, Raven, Beast Boy, and Starfire. The tagline on the poster isn't as encouraging, though.
"They can't save the world...at all"
A lot of fans of the series are excited about this movie. If you haven't watched the trailer for it yet, you can watch that here. It looks like it could be a fun and silly movie to enjoy with the kids.

After Robin first let us know that the unveiling of the first teaser trailer for Teen Titans Go! To The Movies was imminent just yesterday, Warner Bros. have made good on that promise by timely dropping said video online. And, to be honest, it’s the very definition of “teaser trailer.”
We say that because, while footage such as a giant-sized villain letting out a seemingly never-ending fart probably is in the film itself, the Boy Wonder and his cohorts spend much time talking to the viewer in an effort to hype up their upcoming flick.
As was to be expected, the humor is very self-aware and tongue-in-cheek, with them not being afraid to address that Wonder Woman is arguably the hottest property DC has on film at the moment, thus the lot of them don her iconic costume. In addition to that, some fun is also had at the expense of Aquaman.

Warner Bros. has released the first trailer for their upcoming animated film Teen Titans Go! to the Movies. The trailer amusingly puts the spotlight on the popularity of Wonder Woman and why Wonder Woman is so great. After having a little fun with that cuts to some fun actual footage from the film, which includes a fart joke. If you're a fan of the Teen Titans Go! series, then I'm sure you'll get a kick out of this!

Not long ago, we learned that Warner Bros. intend on bringing Teen Titans Go! to the big screen later this year, thus making us wonder why they didn’t opt to adapt another of their currently running series that’d have broader appeal like, say, Justice League Action, but it’s not our move to make. On the other hand, they could be launching it in tandem with the upcoming live action Titans series, so this could make sense in the end.
Right now, plot details remain scarce, but we at least have this synopsis to go on:

As a successor of the original Teen Titans show, the newer incarnation is much more light-hearted, as its 11-minute episodes focus more on whimsy, song and other things that have proven to be highly divisive amongst DC fans.
