She studied at Inis in Montréal and got her diploma in screenwriting in 1997. She received two prizes at the RVCQ festival in 2003 for her first documentary Faut-tu que je tue mon père?. She was finishing, with her co-director Mario Munger, a second one on oral tradition of the Gaspé peninsula. She is the daughter of the mayor of Sainte-Anne-des-Monts, Micheline Pelletier.
