Belladonna is a rock noir band formed in 2005 by Italian songwriters Luana Caraffa and Dani Macchi. In 2007 they become one of the most listened-to bands on MySpace, and their first self-produced album enters the 2008 Grammy Awards ballot. After several tours all over Europe they fly to the USA to record their second album "The Noir Album" with Tool producer Sylvia Massy. They perform at SXSW and several shows with Nine Inch Nails, Siouxsie & the Banshees e Dita Von Teese. In 2009 they write and record "Let There Be Light", a one-off single with legendary UK film composer Michael Nyman. The third album "And There Was Light" is recorded once again in the USA, with Metallica's "Black Album" engineer Mike Tacci. After more tours all over Europe they release their fourth album "Shooting Dice With God" and the single "The God Below" which in 2015 is included in the international TV spot for the Hollywood blockbuster "Minions". After releasing in 2016 "The Orchestral Album", a collection of 10 of their songs recorded with a symphonic orchestra , they license more of their music for the international TV spots of such major USA movies as "My Cousin Rachel" and "Split".
