Simon Cowell likened Britain's Got Talent's third semi-final to an "insane amateur talent show at a holiday camp".
Amid the novelty songs, bouncing balls and Chippendales on motorbikes, The Luminites and Pre-Skool emerged victorious to claim a spot in the final.
Joseph Hall, Rosie O'Sullivan and Robbie Kennedy also impressed, while Thomas Bounce, Stevie Pink, Mc Boy and Freelusion were somewhat more divisive.

The Luminites and dance troupe act Pre-Skool have won places in the Britain's Got Talent final.
The fourpiece band won the majority of the public vote in tonight's (May 30) semi-final and automatically progressed to next week's show.
On being asked how they felt at the news, they said it was "absolutely incredible", adding: "Thank you so much."
Meanwhile, Pre-Skool and dancer Joseph Hall also finished in the top three. To choose another finalist, the vote went to the judges, who were split on their decision.
David Walliams said: "They both came out with such huge attack and energy and both gave fantastic performances," before opting to save Pre-Skool.
Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon opted for Hall, leaving the decision with Simon Cowell. He chose to save Pre-Skool, reverting the decision back to the viewer vote.
It was then revealed that Pre-Skool would be joining The Luminites in the final.

A man has put a £10,000 bet on Jack Carroll winning the final of Britain's Got Talent.
The Isle of Wight resident placed the money on the 14-year-old comedian with odds of 9/2.
Ladbrokes has since cut Carroll's price to 3/1, making him the second favourite to win after Attraction at 5/4.
The bookmaker is also expecting to see The Luminites (2/5) and Robbie Kennedy (4/6) progress to the final from tonight's (May 30) show.
Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: "Money talks, and as Bgt favourites often lose out on the night, we think Jack's fans could be on to a winner come Saturday evening."
Judge David Walliams recently tweeted of Carroll: "If I'd had the talent of @fatjacko at 14 (or even now) I would have desperately wanted to be on the show.
"#Bgt is a huge opportunity to launch a career, win a huge amount of money and perform before the Queen (Elizabeth not @SimonCowell)."

Britain's Got Talent has revealed the line-up for tonight's (May 30) semi-final.
Birmingham singer Rosie O'Sullivan, who covered James Brown's 'This Is a Man's World' in her audition, and brick layer Robbie Kennedy, who impressed with his rendition of 'Iris' by The Goo Goo Dolls, will both sing for a spot in the final.
Busking group The Luminites, who Simon Cowell called "genius", will be taking to the stage too.
After leaving the judges perplexed as to how he achieved his levitating trick, Stevie Pink will be debuting a new stunt, while young juggler Thomas Bounce will also be showing off his skills.
Rapper and singer Mc Boy will be trying to win Cowell over when he returns and 3D dance act Freelusion will be bringing their futuristic style to the stage.
Dancer Joseph Hall will aim to impress with his contemporary style and Pre-Skool will hope to match their older siblings from Nu-Sxool,...

The Britain's Got Talent auditions are always a mixed bag when it comes to entertainment. There's only so much that the horsing around of David Walliams and Simon Cowell can do to mask the mediocre talent and predictable sob stories.
However, when it comes to the live semi-finals, the show morphs into an entirely different and much more enjoyable beast. Tears, bust-ups, disastrous novelty acts who don't seem quite so funny second time around and Walliams prancing around Cowell like Frankie Howard on speed.
Unlike The X Factor it is nigh on impossible to predict the results on Britain's Got Talent. Susan Boyle and Ronan Parke looked like dead certs to be singing for the Queen, but came up short in their finals.
And who makes it through from the semi-finals is even harder to predict. The luck of the draw - the first and final heat are usually the...
