Dr. Oz said that he won’t resign from a White House advisory council after receiving a letter asking him to step down.
Oz, who is running for a U.S. Senate seat in Pennsylvania, had been an appointee of President Donald Trump to the President’s Council on Sports, Fitness & Nutrition.
In a video posted to Twitter, Oz said that “it is beyond sad that Joe Biden would politicize such an important issue like health.” He said that he had no intention of resigning and that he would have to be fired.
But the White House also sent a letter to former pro football player Herschel Walker, who is running for a U.S. Senate seat in Georgia. A White House official said that the request was made because both are running for federal office serving on advisory boards . Members of the council are classified as special government employees...

Elena Delle Donne is ready to speak her truth. While many Wnba fans know the athlete as an important member of the Washington Mystics, others likely had little to no idea that Elena has been battling Lyme disease. In an open letter published by The Players Tribune, the Delaware Blue Hens alumna opened up about her condition that she has been suffering from since 2008. She also revealed that her request to be medically excused for the upcoming Wnba season was denied by an independent medical panel. "When the Wnba started the process of organizing the bubble, I paid careful attention to what measures they were putting in place to make it safe. I know how much work went into this, and...

The results are in for PETA's 14th annual Libby Awards (“Libby” is short for “liberation” — as in “animal liberation”), in which the group’s youth division recognizes the most powerful players on the animal rights scene — and Formula One World Champion Lewis Hamilton and NBA All-Star Chris Paul have come out on top for advocating healthy vegan eating.
Hamilton won Best ’Gram for Animals for sharing a photo of a mother pig and her babies lying dead in a dumpster and urging followers to go vegan. In the post, he wrote, “A mother and her babies tossed away like trash. Their rights were never considered, their lives were never theirs to live. This is the price of your bacon. … #chooselove #govegan.”
Paul — who, like Hamilton, is among the executive producers of the groundbreaking documentary The Game Changers — was named Most Animal-Friendly Athlete for touting the benefits of vegan eating.

I’m a long time fan of EA Sports’ NBA Live franchise. In terms of historical significance, NBA Live 95 remains, to this day, the greatest basketball game I’ve ever played. Not because the controls were the best or the graphics were visually stunning; it’s because my friends and I got together almost every day and played it, and played it, and played it again. So my basis of fandom for the franchise is simply tied up into nostalgia for the fun times we had playing together. When EA brought NBA Live back in 2014, it was an abomination and a far cry from those halcyon days in the mid-90s. Now, so far into the shadow of Take-Two’s NBA 2K franchise that it needs to wear a jacket for warmth, NBA Live is desperately trying to reestablish an inside presence in the paint, and with NBA Live 19, they may have succeeded.

Ok Tvd fans, you are going to want to play the video below over and over and over and over again.
The words are so simple, and yet it's impossible to get them out of your head once you hear them.
I'm not going to ruin the moment for you.
But wait!!
That's not all the news we have today.
The next Bachelorette will be announced tomorrow on Jimmy Kimmel Live, and it's going to be Rachel Lindsay!
Rachel is a contestant on the current installment of The Bachelor, and while (spoiler alert) it kind of takes her out of the running for Nick's heart, it also puts her into a pretty amazing place within the franchise.
Her installment of The Bachelorette will be the first time a black woman or man has been vying for the attention of all of the singles in the 33 seasons of both franchises combined.
