Born in Istanbul in 1988, Burak Oskay spent his childhood in Alanya before returning to Istanbul to pursue higher education. After initially studying Physics at Istanbul University, he switched his focus to Economics. In 2009, he began his career as a part of the production team at PTOT Films, where he started with commercial films. Early in his career, he worked as a location best boy and second unit production manager for "Taken 2" directed by Olivier Megaton. From 2014 to 2016, Oskay served as a production manager on the film "Consequences'' and as unit production manager on "My Mother's Wound". As a line producer, he has been pivotal in successful Netflix original feature film projects including "One Way to Tomorrow" (2020), "Last Summer" (2021), "Don't Leave" directed by Ozan Açiktan, and "Last Call for Istanbul" (working title), directed by Gonenc Uyanik, currently in post-production. In the past decade, Oskay has produced numerous shorts, full-length features, and well over 350 TV commercial films. Currently, he continues to produce both long feature and commercial films.
