Following her raunchy turn in Spring Breakers, Selena Gomez claws back most of her squeaky clean teen-queen image in Behaving Badly, a clumsy high-school sex comedy that tries too hard to be both shocking and endearing, falling short on both counts. Aside from a few lines of juicy bad language, Gomez plays the innocent in this fast-paced screwball farce, which is full of cheerful vulgarity but dangerously low on wit, charm or narrative logic. Lars von Trier’s Nymphomaniac is only two days into filming and has already stirred a great deal of controversy (no surprise there). The film has been described as an erotic drama that, according to star Shia Labeouf, will feature hard-core pornographic sex scenes (the producers insist that “body doubles and visual effects” will be used). Von Trier plans to release it in two parts – each in a soft-core and hard-core version. (What is this? The arthouse porn equivalent of Kill Bill?) The film stars Charlotte Gainsbourg (Melancholia) as the titular nymphomaniac who tells the story of her life from 0-50 to a man (Stellan Skarsgård) who discovers her beaten up in an alleyway.

Just a few days after we got word that Heather Graham would reprise her Hangover role in the upcoming third installment, Variety has informed us that the actress is keeping pretty busy these days. She’s joined the cast of Feed the Dog, an indie comedy — formerly known as Parental Guidance Suggested – which sees Selena Gomez in the starring role.
Tim Garrick has written the script and will be directing the picture, which is based from Ric Browde‘s novel, While I’m Dead… Feed the Dog. Andrew Lazar will be producing through his Mad Chance banner. Graham is also joining Nat Wolff, Austin Stowell, Dylan McDermott, Elisabeth Shue and Cary Elwes.
To get a better sense of the project, aside from its stars, here’s a synopsis of the novel via Amazon:
“‘My publishers are trying to convince me that books are like albums and sell better when they are released posthumously.

Don't look Justin Bieber -- your girlfriend is kissing another man! Selena Gomez was spotted kissing fellow actor Nat Wolff on Friday August 10, and we have a feeling Justin Bieber is not going to react well to these new photos! Luckily for Selena, her and Nat were just acting out a scene for their new movie Parental Guidance! Selena, 20, and Nat, 17, enjoyed one of the many perks of acting as they passionately held one another during the tender lip lock. Selena's new film is an adaptation of Ric Browde's 2000 novel While I'm Dead ... Feed the Dog. Justin, 18, has visited the set before, but we're not sure he would have enjoyed this day full of kisses! In fact, Justin was busy in the studio in Burbank, California! Do you think he planned that on purpose to avoid the kiss? However, Selena seemed okay being on the set of Justin's video...
