Damiano Ticconi

Damiano Ticconi was born on September 22, 1975 in Rome and graduated in Business and Economics at La Sapienza University in 2001. He is a producer and an executive producer. Cloro (2015) directed by L. Sanfelice and Arianna (2015) directed by C. Lavagna, were his first feature films produced. He is also knows for the movie Pecore in Erba (2015) a little cult movie, for Lessons of Love (2019) that won the Biennale College and for Il mio corpo vi seppellirà (2021) a project that is a mixture between Western and pulp. His last productions are Californie (2021) that tell about a trajectory of a young woman filmed in five years and Tutti i cani muoiono soli (2023) di P. Pisanu, a dramatic tale of regret, in a dark and violent wintry Sardinia. His film were selected and awarded prizes in the most important International Film Festival all over the world, such as Sundance, Berlinale, Venice International Film Festival, Bifest, Goteborg Film Festival, Toronto International Film Festival, Tokyo International Film Festival and many others. He also produced many fashion films for brands like Valentino, Gucci, D&G, Stefanel, Bulgari. Since 2015 to 2019 he was partner of Asmara Films, and in the last years he collaborate with other production company like delegate or associate producer.
In 2004 he founded Ang Film, a production company based in Rome.
