Alberto Ocampo
- Actor
- Writer
- Producer
Alberto Ocampo, or Albie (as some of his friends call him), has been acting since 2010.
Albie was born in Medellin, Colombia, the son of an accountant and X-Ray Technician. In 2004 he moved to Colorado, where he started his acting studies at the Denver Center for Performing Arts before moving to California to pursue a full-time career in acting in 2014.
He began building his film repertoire with such roles as Pat in "The Switch," as the naive but very supportive best friend; Fil in "Interesting People," as the guy whom everybody loves; and as El Capitan South America in "The Avengers of Justice: Farce Wars;" the Southern counterpart to Captain America, among many others. Alberto made his debut as an actor in the noir film "The Honey Cooler," filmed in 2010.
In 2015, he joined forces with his bestie and colleague, award-winning producer Vivian Lee Wood (imdb.me/VivianWood), to grow Po3 Productions, LLC; a production company inspired by technology, diversity support, and new ideas. However, in 2016, after writing and producing several projects together, Vivian's health took a dive, and she moved back to her hometown in Virginia. Later, Alberto created Take Over the World Films and, as of late, has been working on new projects as both a writer and producer.
Albie is back in Colombia, rediscovering his roots and creating new outlets for TV & Film.
