NCIS is the TV show that started the trend of projects about NCIS as an independent law enforcement. The project became so popular that it spawned a number of spin-offs.
It's no secret that actors in popular television shows receive substantial paychecks, and if you're interested in specific figures for the main stars of NCIS who are still in the project or have already left it, you can find them here.
5. Wilmer Valderrama as Nicholas Torres — $100,000
Nick appeared in the premiere episode of season 14, replacing fan favorite Tony Dinozzo. He returned to D.C. to bring the person responsible for his brother-in-law's death to justice. At first, Nick seemed too hot-tempered, but over time he joined the team and became an integral part of it.
Wilmer Valderrama, who plays Torres, earns about $100,000 per episode.
4. David McCallum as Dr. Donald Mallard — $175,000
Unfortunately, NCIS lost one of the longest-running characters in Season 21 — Dr.

NCIS actor Sean Murray, who has played Senior Field Agent Timothy McGee since the CBS drama’s first season, has been dishing out some fun awards for his fellow castmates. Murray spoke with People ahead of the show’s milestone 1000th episode, which airs tonight, Monday, April 15, and, in celebration, he gave his co-stars some classic yearbook superlatives. When asked for NCIS‘ “biggest class clown,” Murray laughed and said, “My brother, Mr. Wilmer Valderrama.” “He’s a steady stream of hilariousness for myself and many others, so we have a lot of fun shooting together, and I see that guy offset all the time,” Murray said of his co-star, who plays Special Agent Nicholas Torres. “He’s a lot of fun. I’m going to give that one to Wilmer.” As for the “biggest mom or dad” of the crew, Murray gave that one to Katrina Law, who joined the...

When screen legend David McCallum passed away in September, NCIS fans wondered how the show would deal with the sudden departure of his beloved character, Dr. Donald "Ducky" Mallard.
Now we have the beginnings of an answer to that sad question.
The show set the stage for Ducky's departure with the final scenes of NCIS Season 21 Episode 1.
And in the episode set to air on Monday, February 19, the NCIS crew will get the chance to say goodbye to one of their own.
Poignantly, the episode was co-written by Brian Dietzen, who plays Ducky's fellow medical examiner -- and former assistant -- Dr. Jimmy Palmer.
The previous episode concluded with Alden Parker (Gary Cole) receiving an urgent phone call.
We only heard his half of the conversation, but viewers were quick to assume that the call had to do with Ducky.
Titled “The Stories We Leave Behind,” this week's installment will...

Agent Nicholas Torres joined NCIS on Season 14 of the hit show.
The character came on to replace (very) Special Agent Anthony Dinozzo.
Actor Michael Weatherly had played Tony for years but was ready to try new things.
Enter Wilmer Valderrama, who was a risky choice by the NCIS brass after his years of playing Fez on That ’70s Show.
The risk paid off because Valderrma has been great as Torres, even from the first moment he was on the screen as Torres in Season 14, Episode 1.
Torres has been through much drama on the show, leading fans to ask if he is about to leave NCIS. Here’s what we know.
NCIS Season 21 brings more drama for Agent Nick Torres
The finale episode for Season 20 had Torres in prison and then confronting the man who had caused his family much trauma.

NCIS stars Wilmer Valderrama and Katrina Law will be visiting Vanessa Lachey and the rest of the NCIS: Hawai’i gang as part of a crossover special event airing via CBS on March 28.
“I am headed off to Hawaii to shoot a crossover event,” Valderrama says in an Instagram video released on Monday. Added Law, “I’ve also got something to tell you: I’m coming to Hawaii, too.”
Details regarding what fans can expect from the special that’ll see agents Nicholas Torres and Jessica Knight come face to face with Lachey’s Jane Tennant are being kept under wraps by CBS. Whatever the plans, viewers can certainly expect an action-packed episode, according to Law.
“It’s going to be good being back on the island solving crimes,” she said mischievously.
The actress formerly starred in the CBS drama Hawaii Five-o as Quinn Liu during the show’s 10th season.

Wilmer Valderrama is developing a TV series based on the Disney western Zorro for Disney Branded Television. Valderrama is set to executive produce and star as Don Diego de la Vega and his alter ego, the titular masked horseman.
The project is executive produced by former Disney Branded Entertainment President and Chief Creative Officer Gary Marsh under the multiyear production deal for his banner at Disney General Entertainment, and John Gertz of Zorro Productions, Inc.
“We’re reimagining this Disney classic as a compelling period piece, set in Pueblo de Los Angeles, but told in a very modern telenovela style — with richly drawn contemporary characters and relationships set against the action, drama, suspense, and humor of the original, iconic Zorro,” said Ayo Davis, President of Disney Branded Television. “Wilmer shares our commitment to reflect the interesting and rich diversity of the human experience and we look forward to delivering a...
