Hex, not to be confused with several other films with the same title, opens with a montage of shots, old illustrations of demons, skydivers performing a risky manoeuvre, and blood being dripped on an altimeter as it’s being assembled. So it’s not a huge surprise when it ends with one of the parachutists falling to their death.
Ten years later Sarah is the new girl at the local skydiving club. Payson has been trying to get her to jump with his team, Lisa, Wade, Evan and Greg.
Why is he so insistent to add her to the crew? He wants to attempt The Hex, the risky and allegedly cursed formation jump we saw go wrong in the opening scenes.

The action horror film Hex, directed by the filmmaking duo of Chris Johnston and Andy Malchiodi in their feature debut, has been given a DVD and digital release courtesy of Lionsgate, and we’ve gotten our hands on the trailer for Hex to help you decide whether or not this is something you would like to watch. You can check it out in the embed above.
Hex was scripted by Hans Rodionoff, whose previous credits include The Skulls II, Saint Sinner, The Hollow, Man-Thing, Lost Boys: The Tribe, Lost Boys: The Thirst, Deep Blue Sea 2, and episodes of The Goldbergs. For this one, Rodionoff crafted the following story:
Six extreme thrill-seekers get more excitement than they can handle in this intense, pulse-pounding action-horror tale. Loner Sarah joins a team of skydivers to help them execute a dangerous formation jump called “The Hex,” ignoring warnings that the act may be cursed.

"Now that we finally have six people, I think we should try the 'hex.'" Lionsgate has revealed a trailer for Hex, a mysterious thriller about a strange skydiving mishap. From their old Indiegogo page, the origins are explained: "Hex was born when a group of industry professionals decided to bring the excitement of modern skydiving into a gripping narrative story. Why skydiving? This production crew has a combined total of over 25,000 skydives! Bringing together a shared love of skydiving & horror films seemed like a perfect match." The film is about a mysterious disappearance on a jump. A group of skydivers experience paranormal occurrences that leave them fighting for their lives. Starring Kayla Adams, Matthew Holcomb, Bryan David Roberts, Eric Alperin, and Chloe Berman. This is a terrible trailer, and the acting is so bad, but this actually still looks kind of awesome? A totally crazy experimental horror film that isn't made anymore.

It was meant to be a fun spring break, full of fun and relaxation, but as they all start to get killed off one by one, it looks as though Rachel’s fear has come true Again!
If you didn’t guess from the acronym title, Wtf! is very much a tongue and cheek slasher which was co-written and directed by Peter Herro. Although a lot of the comedy...

Out today on cable VOD platforms and Digital HD from Midnight Releasing is the new horror comedy Wtf!, which follows a group of young friends spending spring break at a secluded cabin in the woods. Although the setup may sound familiar, Wtf! has several twists up its blood-spattered sleeve, and for our latest Q&A feature, we caught up with co-writer/director Peter Herro to discuss the making of the new horror comedy.
Thanks for taking the time to answer some questions for us, Peter. What attracted you to bringing the story of Wtf! to life, and how did you, Adam Buchalter, and Christopher Lawrence Centanni come up with the idea?
Peter Herro: Back in 2009, Christopher Centanni and I were out to dinner and talking about writing a horror movie. I really wanted to direct something and he really wanted to write. I also have a passion for writing,...
