Last week on “The Voice,” Team John Legend took the stage during the playoffs as all six contestants performed for a shot at making it into the live shows. In the end, three of John’s artists advanced to the next round: Mac Royals, Lila Forde and Azán. That meant the other three singers — Kristen Brown, Kaylee Shimizu and Taylor Deneen — were all eliminated.
Gold Derby asked “The Voice” fans to vote in our poll for which of these three was most robbed, and the results are overwhelmingly strong for Kaylee. She scored a whopping 82% of the vote, compared to just 10% for Kristen and 8% for Taylor. Do You agree or disagree with those poll results? Be sure to sound off down in the comments section.

Tuesday night during “The Playoffs” on NBC’s “The Voice,” John Legend was faced with the tough decision of cutting down his six-person team to only three aspiring singers. In the end, he chose to keep Mac Royals, Lila Forde and Azán, which meant Kristen Brown, Kaylee Shimizu and Taylor Deneen were all sent home. (Talk about a bloodbath!) So which of Team Legend’s three eliminated artists do You think was most robbed in “The Voice” Playoffs? Vote in our poll below.
“Mac, Lila and Azan — each of them knows who they are, and their stage presence is very assured, like they belong in this moment,” John declared at the end of the hour. “They’re real artists, and I’m excited to take them to the lives.” It’s been a while since a Team Legend artist has won “The Voice”. Can someone on this new team now prevail in Season 24? Stay tuned.

As The Voice completed its Season 24 Playoffs Tuesday evening, John Legend’s team members competed to remain in the contest after their coach cut his lineup in half. Did he make better selections than, say, Niall Horan (whose elimination of Alexa Wildish is sure to irritate me all the way through the finals) and Gwen Stefani (who kept Bias and Tanner Massey instead of Stee and Rudi)? Read on and find out!
Azán, “Adorn” — Grade: A | I’m giving John’s Super Save artist an “A” for her Miguel cover even though I kinda wasn’t crazy about it. She sang beautifully.

As The Voice continued its Season 24 Battles Monday evening, one of them darn near claimed coach Reba McEntire as a casualty. After hearing Corii and Ms. Monét tear up Patti Labelle’s “New Attitude” in rehearsal, the country legend mock-fell to the floor — which seemed a pretty apropos reaction, actually. How’d the twosome do when it counted? And who else gave performances that should’ve come with a side of smelling salts? Read on…
