Clipse rapper No Malice has thrown his hat into the ring of unpredictable musical team-ups, welcoming potential collaborations with the likes of Coldplay and The Killers.
Malice and Pusha T sat down with their manager Steven Victor in a recent interview with Goat, in which the duo revealed whom they’d like to collaborate with in the future.
“As far as hip-hop goes, the highwater mark is always collaborating with Jay-Z, so I would like that,” Malice began. “Outside of hip-hop, I would like to see Clipse with artists like Coldplay and The Killers, with big arena records, festivals, something that moves globally.”
King Push, however, feels a little differently, after seemingly reaching his collaboration limit. “Man. I don’t know. I’m collab’d out,” he said. “I don’t even care about collaborations if it’s not among a great body of work. I’m into cohesive, great bodies of work.

After reuniting at Pharrell’s Something in the Water festival last year, Clipse are set to make an even bigger splash with a headlining set at Chicago’s Hyde Park Summerfest. The festival goes down on June 17th and 18th at Midway Plaisance Park and will feature 2 Chainz as the other headliner.
According to a press statement, Clipse will “perform some of their biggest hits, including ‘Grindin’ and ‘When the Last Time,’ alongside other collaborations and fan favorites.”
Unless something changes, this will mark the duo of Pusha T and real-life brother No Malice’s first full set since announcing their reunion for the postponed 2020 edition of Something in the Water. Last fall, Clipse also played brief sets at the BET Awards and ComplexCon.
Hyde Park Summerfest 2023 will also celebrate 50 years of hip-hop with a Chicago rap tribute featuring Twista, Shawnna, Do or Die, Crucial Conflict, and Vic Mensa, as...

What a year for music—any of my top half-dozen or so could have been Number One some other year. But these are my faves, with pop idols, guitar bangers, rap poets, disco visionaries. All these albums keep giving up new surprises for me. The double-digit years are always pivotal for music—’66, ’77, ’88, ’99 were four of the coolest music years ever. (’11 and ’55 were bangers, too. Y2K wasn’t so hot, but at least it had a kick-ass Madonna album.) 2022 felt more like Neil Young’s 22 than Taylor Swift’s, but...

Just over 20 years after the release of their 2002 debut single “Grindin,’” Virginia Beach-hailing rap duo Clipse reunited for a special performance of the track during the 2022 BET Hip Hop Awards on Tuesday night.
Pusha T performed a medley of singles from his latest album It’s Almost Dry including “Diet Coke” and “Just So You Remember,” the latter of which served as the perfect segue into No Malice’s surprise appearance.
