Oliver Caveney was born and educated in Stafford, a county town in the
Heart of England. At the age of 7 he began to act at the local theatre
school, SGYT, which is run by the Stafford Gatehouse Theatre. After
completing primary school, Caveney went on to study at Blessed William
Howard Catholic High School and then went on to obtain GCSE's in Math,
English, Drama, ICT, Business Studies and Leisure and Tourism. During
two years at Stafford College, in which Caveney studied Media and Film
Studies, Photography and Theatre Studies, he set up what was originally
called Oliver Caveney's LittleThings, an events company. After a change
of the name to LittleThings (UK) in May 2011, Caveney went on to host a
successful Comedy and Music Gala for Cancer Research UK, this raised
over three hundred for the charity. Since September 2011 the company
has focused on TV, Film and Radio Production.
In 2011, Caveney created the television series "Techi" as a pilot for UKTV and the BBC, the programme is planned and is on ice until 2013.
In 2012, Caveney obtained a job at a local radio station, Stafford FM, and in June of that year he began to host their popular programme "YouthTube" which aimed itself at a younger audience compared to the stations usual offerings. In his producer role on the show, Caveney rebranded and introduced background video content as part of "YouthTube Xtra". In August he began to host the ever popular Weekend Breakfast programming. Oliver left the station in December 2012 after the station closed for a re-brand.
In October 2012, Caveney signed with PERFManagement, a guidance talent management company. PERFManagement works with production houses on Caveney's career as a presenter.
Oliver currently works for YouthTube Media, a extension to the show he used to producer for Stafford FM. The company works with Online Media Networks and produces "YouthTube" branded content on a weekly basis (as of May 2013).
