Paul Blevins grew up in San Diego, CA and Lakeside CA. His Father was a
naval officer and His mother was a full-time mom. Since he was seven,
he always loved to stay up late to watch the late-night monster movies
on TV. he remembered how he and his mother enjoyed making snacks and
watching "Zontar" or "Them" or "Godzilla" until 1 in the morning. He
also got to stay up on school nights if a Jerry Lewis movie was on. He
played sports, got good grades, and got his heart broken in
adolescence. Co-incidentally, Rhonda, who co-starred in his first movie
was the girl who broke his heart. They met later in life and fell in
love all over again. After high school, he went to college. He married
his first wife at the age of 20. They had two wonderful sons. They
divorced 14 years later. He married Rhonda Blevins in 2001 and have
been living happily ever after. Although Paul always dreamed of making
a movie, he never acted on it until he made "True Love Zombie". He
bought his first editor in 2002 and made movies out of vacation videos
for several years, but the spark to actually write, produce and direct
a film never kindled to the point of compelling him to act. Paul was
glad it eventually did because making movies is one of most demanding
and rewarding endeavors a person can take on.
