Nadia Borelli is educated in both classical music and classical theatre. A company member of Echo Theater in Los Angeles under the leadership of Chris Fields, she earned her degree in Musical Theatre from Columbia College Chicago. Nadia brings a well-rounded approach to the high demands of modern storytelling across nearly every medium.
She portrayed the conniving antagonist Jenna in Lacy's Christmas Do-Over on Showtime, and played a sweet dancer who provided comedic relief in the TV show All American on The CW and Netflix. Visually, she evokes a blend of a young Bernadette Peters, vintage Stevie Nicks, and classic Donna Reed. Naturally, her type leans toward the leading lady or an offbeat love interest, reminiscent of Anna Kendrick, Marisa Tomei, or Zooey Deschanel.
Nadia channels storytelling through her musical talents as a singer-songwriter and instrumentalist, performing and recording her own music at venues across Los Angeles, including The Viper Room and The Peppermint Club. She received nominations for Best Actress and Best Original Score for her work in Whispers at the New Jersey Film Awards, as well as for Best Original Song for her work on Sushi at the New York Film Awards. Additionally, she worked closely with Oscar-winning director Asif Kapadia on a national United Airlines commercial.
In 2024, she launched a screenwriting room and has been developing a full-length biopic. Nadia is represented for film and television by Courtney Peldon at Aqua Talent and for commercials by Hugh Leon at Coast to Coast, and continues ongoing coaching with Chris Fields (student of Stella Adler), Shelley Mitchell (Student of Lee Strasburg), and Aimee Deshayes (Carnegie Melon).
