Anne Nauth-Misir was raised in Essex, living in a council house with her parents and younger sister. Her Father worked on the railways and suffered with diabetes since the age of 21, her Mother juggled child care, health care for her husband and working whenever possible. They had no car, no telephone but enjoyed family holidays in England.
This solid foundation and family life provided Anne with strong values and work ethic to provide for her own children. She did well at school but was steered away from her creative interests, she qualified as a Therapeutic Radiographer and progressed over 40 years in the NHS to lead a central London Cancer treatment facility.
Since 2011, Anne's creative side has been revived, teaming up with film Director Ray Brady to make several short and feature length films during weekends and periods of annual leave. This has been a very enjoyable steep learning curve. Some of the skills and expertise gained from leading a Radiotherapy department of over 50 staff with budgetary responsibility proved to be transferable. Now retired from the NHS she devotes her time and energy to film making.
