The Roost will work to expand distribution and head up sales for the series across all distribution platform. In addition to Padilla, The Roost reps podcasts from fellow YouTube creators like Garrett Watts and Andrew Siwicki (Sweet Boys) and Zane Hijazi and Heath Hussar (Unfiltered).

Garrett Watts and Andrew Siwicki, two long-time friends who both rose to fame as affiliates of beleaguered YouTube star Shane Dawson, have launched a new joint venture: the podcast Sweet Boys.
Watts was a familiar presence in Dawson's videos who subsequently became a massive YouTube star in his own right, while Siwicki served as the videographer and editor on several of Dawson’s hit docuseries -- ultimately emerging as an on-camera character, as well.
Sweet Boys is a nod to the guys' affability and their desire to be "anti-shock jocks," per a press release. The show is being produced by Rooster Teeth’s podcast network, The Roost, which reps a whole host of creator-led podcasts, including Zane & Heath: Unfiltered. Each week, Watts and Siwicki will deliver their perspectives on life and the internet -- in both audio and video form. The series launches Nov. 18 on Apple, Spotify, and everywhere else...

Texas governor Rick Perry compared homosexuality to alcoholism last week, and it turns out it's not because he once dated Louie Anderson. The politico clarified his views in this new Funny Or Die clip (starring out comic James Adomian as Perry) and featuring "Throwing Shade" podcast star Bryan Safi as an inquiring journalist. And hey, is that Vine kook Garrett Watts in back? I do believe so.
