New Delhi, March 3: Carnatic singer Sudha Raghuraman's and indie pop band Advaita's duet performance was applauded by music enthusiasts here at the Vriddhi: Evolution Music Festival.
Organised by the Kuchipudi Dance Academy Saturday, it took them a while to set the mood, but it was not long before the young crowd cheered the eight-piece band and Raghuraman's musical jugalbandi.
The performance started with jamming between tabla maestro Vishal Nagar and jazz pianist Terry McCaw.
Raghuraman, accompanied by husband G.Raghuraman on flute, showed how wonderful Indian classical music can be presented with western instruments.
