Last year, Skybound launched a comic book series inspired by Creepshow franchise that George A. Romero and Stephen King began with the 1982 film Creepshow (watch it Here) and the 1987 sequel Creepshow 2 (watch that one Here). Volume 1 consisted of five issues that have since been collected in a trade paperback. Volume 2 will also consist of five issues and will start reaching store shelve soon – and in the midst of the Volume 2 release, there will also be a one-shot Creepshow Holiday Special comic book!

The First Purge director Gerard McMurray is about to tackle another comic book adaptation when he brings Vault Comics’ Resonant to television. The project is part of an overall deal McMurray has signed with BET. The adaptation hails from CBS Studios and Ridley Scott’s Scott Free Productions, with McMurray serving as the project’s director, writer, and executive producer. Resonant will debut on the BET+ streaming service once it’s ready to roll out.
