She received a BA in Acting and a MA in Teaching from the National University of Theatre and Film "I.L.Caragiale," Bucharest-Romania. In 2009 she won Best Actress in a Supporting Role for Melania from "Children of the Sun" by Maxim Gorki. The following year she was nominated for Best Actress in a Leading Role for her astonishing performance in "Some Girls" by Neil LaBute. Cristina is also a playwright, having written the play "Someone like you" in 2012, staged for a few years in Bucharest. She also wrote, directed, and produced a short - "Identity."
